NO!!!! It's Gracie for Crazy Hair Day!!!

First day of 1st grade!

Wasn't it just yesterday that I announced her commencement of Kindergarten and we were beginning our summer break? Well, after a super-fast summer, Gracie is starting the 1st grade! The night before she anxiously picked out her clothes, took a shower by herself for the first time, and got her backpack ready - all with a giant grin on her face with the joyous anticipation of what the next day would bring!

Gracie is 6! (...late post)

Gracie turned 6 on June 28th! I can still remember that morning 6 years ago waking up to contractions that came a weeks late and spending the next 16 hours in labor. She was my first baby and she has been a wonderful daughter! She is already about to enter 1st grade and she loves life! My wish for her is to remember that mistakes in life are ok and they can be used as learning tools. Also, she was chosen to be the big big sister because God has a special plan for her in helping out her little sister and her baby sister. Her eyes light up when she smiles and though she may be timid at times she has empathy for others that will help her to love everyone she comes in contact with.

Kindergarten has officially come and gone

Yesterday was Gracie's last day of Kindergarten! It went by so fast and she loved every minute of it. She is already excited to start 1st grade but doesn't mind getting to hang around mommy and sister for a couple of months and having fun:)

 I just can't believe how fast she is growing up! Everytime I think of how fast that just is, I have to take a deep breath and soak her in because she is such a wonderful kiddo.

She loves life, learning, making new friends and searching for bugs.

 Gracie carries a lot of love in her heart and is so eager to help her momma and daddy out with things we need. She is becoming a cleaning freak and gets mad if Mckenna messes up their room after she cleans it.
