The Tale of a Horny Toad

Gracie is quickly becoming a small animal lover! Every small animal or insect she can find becomes her new love. The abundance of grasshoppers in the yard has kept her full of "patients" to take care of but we had an unusual guest at our house the other day. A horny toad!

Jake caught him and then put the little guy in a cage so the girls could check him out and they were fascinated! However, when it came time to let the little guy go, Gracie pulled her animal magic and instead of running away, he stayed right at her feet in the field for about 30 minutes as she caressed him and spoke to him.

He finally went on his way after awhile but gave the girls just enough time to have a Horny Toad Adventure!
